Mudras

Mudras are symbolic hand gestures or positions utilized in meditation and yoga to influence the flow of energy in the body. These gestures, also referred to as hand mudras, are not just a matter of physical position—they are a subtle but potent opportunity to cultivate depth of spiritual open-eye meditation awareness, sharpen mental focus, and balance your emotional state. Mudras for yoga and mudras for meditation have been practiced in spiritual and healing traditions throughout human history.

In yoga, these gestures are often paired with asana pranayama mudra bandha for a more profound inner transformation experience. Whether you are stacking mudras for chakras, energy healing, or a peaceful state of mind there is a mudra for about every circumstance.
